Buckinghamshire Parkland

Denham Golf Club

Denham, Buckinghamshire. A Harry Colt parkland course with its own railway station, a clubhouse in converted 16th-century farm buildings and a 2026 England Top 100 debut.

Denham Golf Club sits in the Colne Valley on the Buckinghamshire and Middlesex border, just inside the M25 and roughly 20 miles from central London. It has its own railway station next to the course, opened in 1912, with trains to London Marylebone, which makes it easy to reach from the capital.

Stoke Park

Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire. A Wyatt mansion in Capability Brown parkland with a 27-hole Harry Colt course, the setting for Goldfinger's golf match and home to the Boodles Tennis Championships.

Stoke Park is a historic golf estate at Stoke Poges in Buckinghamshire, less than 20 minutes from Heathrow. The Georgian mansion was designed by James Wyatt and stands in parkland shaped by Capability Brown and Humphry Repton, and Golf Illustrated once said the course would take a great deal of beating anywhere within thirty miles of London.

Woburn Golf Club

Little Brickhill, near Milton Keynes. Three championship courses through pine, birch and heather, home to the British Masters and Women's British Open, and to Charley Hull and Ian Poulter.

Woburn Golf Club sits at Little Brickhill near Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, about 30 minutes from the M25. It is built on the vision of the Marquess of Tavistock, later the 14th Duke of Bedford, who is said to have replied "How sad, I had intended to build a golf course" when the Milton Keynes Development Corporation wanted his land for a recreational park.
