This privacy policy explains how Golf Tours London Ltd (“Golf Tours London”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information through golftourslondon.com. We are the data controller for this information.
Who we are
Golf Tours London Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16854034). Our registered office is Spinney Lodge, Firlands, Weybridge, KT13 0HR. Golf Tours London is a service of Golf Tourism England.

What information we collect
We work exclusively with the travel trade, so most of the information we hold relates to people acting on behalf of tour operators and travel agents. When you send us a trade enquiry through our website, we collect:
- your name, job title and company name
- your email address and phone number
- your country or market
- details of the programme you are planning, such as group size, travel dates and itinerary interest
- anything else you choose to tell us in your message, and how you heard about us
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information such as health details or payment card numbers through the website.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- respond to your enquiry and discuss your programme
- prepare itinerary proposals and quotations
- arrange and manage programmes we agree to deliver for you
- keep a record of our dealings with your business
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to and managing trade enquiries and business relationships. Where you ask us to prepare a proposal or arrange a programme, we also process your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then to perform that contract.
We will not use your details for marketing unless you have agreed to this, and you can opt out of any marketing emails at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where needed:
- with Golf Tourism England, which works alongside us in handling trade enquiries
- with golf clubs, hotels and transport providers, where needed to arrange a programme you have asked us to deliver
- with the companies that host our website and provide our email and IT services, who act on our instructions
- where we are required to by law
Some of our service providers may store information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK-approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to a programme, we keep your details for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation again. If we deliver a programme for you, we keep business records for as long as we need to for legal, accounting and tax purposes, usually seven years.
Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work properly. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or object to our using it. To make a request, email acooke@golftourslondon.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
