Tandridge Golf Club is a Harry Colt classic in the Surrey countryside near Oxted, on the edge of the North Downs. Designed by Colt in 1924, it is ranked 96th in Golf Monthly’s Top 100 courses in Great Britain and Ireland for 2025/26 and is known for its strategic design and its well-protected, often elevated greens.
The course is a par 71 of about 6,500 yards with two contrasting nines. The front nine is a classic, gentle introduction, while the back nine is more undulating and fearsome, with spectacular views of the North Downs and the High Weald. The 13th is a par three of more than 220 yards from the back tees and one of the toughest on the course, while the 14th is a dramatic downhill par four that plays across a ditch and is regarded as Colt’s original signature hole. A long-term woodland management strategy begun in 2022 is helping to open up the course.
Tandridge welcomes visitors from Monday to Thursday, with a small number of premium tee times on Fridays and Saturdays, and societies and corporate groups are accommodated on Thursdays. Golf Tours London can build a round here into a bespoke itinerary and organise transport from your hotel.
