Hampshire Heathland

Blackmoor Golf Club

Whitehill, Hampshire. A Harry Colt heathland course of heather, pine and birch on the western edge of the sand belt, with sixteen of his original holes still in play after more than a century.

Blackmoor Golf Club sits at Whitehill near Bordon in Hampshire, at the western end of the great Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire sand belt, between the North and South Downs. Founded in 1913 and laid out by Harry Colt, it celebrated its centenary in 2013 and still retains sixteen of Colt's original holes.

Fleet, Hampshire. A 1904 heathland club with Braid, Colt, Simpson, Steel and Mackenzie in its design history, and the home club of US Open champion Justin Rose.

North Hants Golf Club sits at Fleet in Hampshire, on a heathland course with a long architectural pedigree. Founded in 1904 and opened by Princess Alexander of Teck, it was conceived as an ambitious blend of gentleman's club and American-style country club, with golf, lawn tennis and croquet, to attract members from London.
